Here’s a shot of Sunderland, Massachusetts from Mt. Sugarloaf (elevation 652 feet) across the Connecticut River in Deerfield. I was doing some serious huffing and puffing scaling this mighty peak, while little children hopped and skipped by me with no effort at all. I’m going to have to start climbing it more often.

Was this taken at sunset? Wants me to drop everything and run someplace where I can watch the sunset again.
The sun was low in the western sky, and this is the view to the east. I got down before dark.
Beautiful shot. I miss the valley! (UMass alum speaking)
