I hope to run into Homer, Hopper, Wyeth, Sargent and a few others this morning. They will all be represented at the Painting Summer in New England exhibit at the Peabody Essex Museum. The exhibit runs from April 22- Sept 4 2006 with over 100 paintings adting from 1850’s. The scenery and lighting in Cape Ann brought artists from all over. Still today communities such as Rocky Neck and Rockport maintain strong artist ties.
