I headed to Gill’s Farm Stand today to pick up some local asparagus and then a fresh hormone free chicken at Emmanuel’s Market. The days at home have been grand and getting the yard together a peaceful pursuit. It will be dinner at the farm table next to the fireplace tonight. I love when day time temps give way to evening’s chill. It is nights like this that I think about when I am on the road.

I head out to Dusseldorf on Thursday for a small trip with a few writers from NYC and LAX. Then they depart on the 12th of May and I head to Hamburg. I am sure at some point to think about dinner at the farm table in Cottekill.
