WHAT IS THE TRAVEL WRITING LIFE REALLY LIKE? IS IT AS GREAT AS PEOPLE THINK? I HOPE TO COME TO SOME CONCLUSIONS AS I SHARE MY TRIPS AND TRAVAILS.

National Geographics Road Trips. Perfect…

by Kent St. John on May 29, 2012

If there is one kind of travel I love the most it is road tripping, the road shows so much about a place. I picked up the National Geographic, World’s Most Scenic Drives yesterday. I was kind of surprised to see how many I’ve done. I have always liked to stay longer than press trips allow and often stayed a few days longer on my own to do some road tripping.

The Green Coast in Brazil popped up as a good one, great one I think! Doing that road took me to Parity and up to Bouzios, if need be a ferry ride to IIha Grande, a 74 mile island was close by. Hana’s Highway in Hawai with its 617 turns offers a rush. Tons of apps are open to this method, free and easy! Here are some good quick ones:
