While I have fallen behind in my chronicling of this year’s Spring adventures, I will have you know that we are already dusting off our hiking boots and unpacking our recently acquired luggage paraphernalia (read baby travel gear) at a lakeside lodge in midcoast Maine.

We plan to have many lobster dinners, albeit cold ones. Hot dinners are a luxury when you are traveling with a 9-month-old as any new parent will tell you. And we plan to hike. And take pictures. And write.

So how’s the trip so far you wonder. Well, while out scouting for a place to eat on Rockland’s Main Street, we stumbled upon a bookstore named Reading Corner. Enough said.
