Finally – Part 1 of a trip made to Russia with the Albany-Tula Alliance is complete.
Just to refresh your memory, Guilderland High School Senior, Haewon Hwang and Ichabod Crane High School Senior, Rose Schneider along with 3 ATA members (myself included) spent a week in Moscow and Tula with friends of our sister-city organization.
Part 1 includes highlights like evening invitations to house dinners, a tour of Tula State Pedagogical University and meeting the classmates of an English class taught by Vladmir Andreev.
Part 2, to be uploaded in a few days, will include a day trip to Leo Tolstoy’s Estate, Yasnaya Polyana, School 3 and a hands-on museum in downtown Tula.
