Tonawanda to Lancaster with “Our Ability”

by Sonja Stark on June 23, 2013

Take a peak at some of the footage shot during today’s send-off of John Robinson, Doug Hamlin and the “Our Ability” company. A light tail wind and excited spirits helped simmer the steamy 91-degrees sunshine.

The Tonawanda to Lockport, day 1, ride took about 4 hours (24.4 miles) but that was with dozens of breaks under shaded trees along a beautiful waterway.

Thank goodness this isn’t a race! It’s nice to be able to scurry ahead with my camera equipment, videotape for a few minutes and then catch up alongside everyone with my own bike. Note to self: don sunscreen, wear socks and don’t forget the gloves.
