Herman Cain Leads the Pack and Defends His Smoking Ad

Herman Cain is the GOP front runner. His campaign ad shows his manager Mark taking a puff of a cigarette. Cain now is talking to Bob Schiefer on CBS’s Face the Nation defending the ad showing the smoker. Cain says, ‘hey, he’s a smoker, we want to let Mark be Mark. He smokes, I don’t. So we think people should be able to smoke if they want.’

Bob berates him about the 400,000 people who die every year from cigarettes. He made candidate Cain say on the show. “It’s not cool to smoke. Young people, don’t smoke. I don’t smoke so you shouldn’t.”

Cain went on to explain that his 9-9-9 plan actually has a zero in the middle for Americans living below the poverty line. It’s actually 9 zero 9, and they won’t have to pay any taxes. It is hard for me to believe that the Republicans are gonna nominate this guy. One thing I did like is when he said, “if they ask me who the president of izzey-bak-istan or something, I’ll just tell them no. Do YOU know his name?
