Thank you Tarun.
Simply awesome…
Thank you Megha, no new posts at your end for quite some time?
on first look i thought it's road…..wonderful
Sandep but it is bona fide river in Spiti
beautiful view … it does look like a man made canal isnt it, if not a road?
Savage Garden, you are welcome.Rocksea, trust Shrinidhi to notice such things! Thanks Ramesh.Sangfroid, I think we sat down next to one that at least for a while was clear
Are most rivers in this region are muddy? I remember Zanskar/Indus confluence at Nimmu. One was dirty (color-wise) and other dirtier
simply beautiful…:)
thanks for the details mridula. yes, the width and flow of the river is consistent like it was manually made!
Thanks for you advice Mridula. You are absolutely Right.
Savage Garden, thanks for stopping by. I would say let the kid grow up a little more. Though I have seen kids in the region, I would say take him when he can remember something. Till then places that are closer and do not involve such high altitude would be a better bet.
Wonderfull Picture Mridula. Its my Dream to be there in spiti and Ladakh region.but I think I have to wait for few years Since my son is 3 year old only.Whats your opinion about travelling with kids to Ladakh region.
Thanks for that observation Shrinidhi.BB, I travel with my family mostly husband, nephews and only occassionally alone. But Ladakh and Spiti can be one alone.
hi, do u travel alone or with a group to all the places you been to.please share so that it could inspire me…to follow the same.
width is maintained constant throughout-looks like a road…
Rocksea, Spiti and the Ladakh regions are cold desserts hence this bleak landscape. We were there in June and day time is quite OK. Since we would trek in fact day felt warm but nights are cold. On this trek we were lucky to have a bit of cloud cover so the days too were pleasant.
saw the enlarged version… nice… the hills around the river… why do they look barren? how was the weather there when it was taken?
