I have come across many a times in people’s signature lines- Sent via Blackberry by — and I often wondered why someone would like to attach that in a signature. Looks like some people for sure wish to remove it.
Sent from my space station. By laser beam. Honest.

Anil people do try, there is a way to do it and FAQs on the same.Soumya thanks for providing another perspective for the same.
There is/(was once upon a time) a logical reason behind this.Replies sent from pda's/smartphones are usually shorter, terser and prone to typos. So this was to 'indemnify' the sender.I have a colleague, whose signature is:-sent from my blackberry, hence the brevity-I use -sent from my mobile-Different strokes for different folks!
I've seen it many a times as well. Looks like the former is a default line inserted at the end. Would be nice to have folks change it and be a little creative.
Thats a good one. Makes you wonder why you couldn't think of something like this.

I have seen several mails with signature as"sent from blackberry and sent from iphone".I am going to insert a new signature line. "Sent from nokian97"
Yes. It is quite irritating at times. So much that people changes theirs to – "Not sent from an iPhone or Blackberry":-D
Hi, stumbled on this post from Pins n Ashes. I was quite bemused the first time I got a mail saying 'sent from my blackberry'.Was tempted to reply saying 'sent from my IBM desktop'Better sense prevailed

Hehe that is, these small thing kinda lighten up the things….One of my first mail forwarded by my Reporting manager contained this line "Whenever it pours, it rains" and believe me, in that excel sheet attached to that mail, the work rained..:)
