It was January 14 (yes that is correct, I am not talking about Feburary 14) and I was with my friends at Barkul, Chilika Lake. We decided to get up early to catch the sunrise. January 14 is Makar Sankranti, a religious festival in India, which is a harvest festival. There are so many major and minor festivals in India that one can easily lose track, I for sure do. And neither am I a big fan of festivals. But on this day there were so many people out early and on the banks of the lake because they had to take a boat to a local temple. Hence so many silhouettes on the bridge.
This is my entry for Skywatch Friday. Why don’t you also share your sky pictures?
