The city of Hammondsport where I tasted wine (in the snow) at Keuka Lake is getting some respect around the States – they are one of ten finalists for America’s Coolest Small Town 2012.

Pretty impressive: Hammondsport received the most number of votes in the first round (8,036) while the runner-up pulled in only 999 (Weaverville, CA).
