Nice job working the 87 Trumbullmakers into this story! The Frozen Pigeons was indeed a memorable tale.

I’m really impressed you remembered by modest literary attempt, Stephen! Thanks for the kind words. But I don’t remember the student falling on the car – was he okay, or another casualty? And I, too, usually say I was a student at Morse College and can’t say I identify much w/ the institution either…

My unpublished short story cycle “Notorious Defenestrations of the 20th Century” (working title) covers the following (true) defenestrations: Adolph Coors Sr, James Forrestal (our first Secretary of Defense), Yves Klein, Robert Wyatt (drummer of Soft Machine), Eli Black (model for Hudsucker Proxy), and Wallis Franken (supermodel partner of Claude Montana). There are others, its been a while. BTW, did you catch Gary Lucas guitar gig, same class reunion.

Alas, Peter, the student fell to his death on the roof of Kris’s car.
