Welcome to the 18th annual Old Town Holiday Stroll in Albuquerque, New Mexico!
In the 1500’s, Albuquerque, New Mexico used bonfires along roads to light the way for people attending midnight mass. Today, the town uses paper bags, sand and candles to recreate history. The first Friday of every December, Old Town closes its streets to foot traffic to light up thousands of luminarias.
Nothing beats a steaming cup of cocoa with a dash of green chili’s.
