The Premiere of “On the Lake” on WNYT

Nicknamed the Queen of American Lakes, Lake George is a summertime destination for boating, fishing, swimming and so much more. Shaped by dozens of secluded islands and quiet blue coves it’s one of the most scenic regions in New York State.

A couple years ago a bunch of us production people spent the summer shooting historic hotspots from air, land and water.

We shot lakefront property from a Mohican cruise, soared 3,000 feet above Fort William Henry for footage of the Adirondacks and chased a group of incorrigible pirates through the Great Escape Fun Park.

When the fun finally came to an end the real work began; writing, editing and finding sponsors took better than two years to complete.

Ideas are a dime a dozen but execution is priceless and executive producers Paul Rutherford and Dan Lynch of “For People Who Think” made it all happen.

Local Capital Region NBC-affiliate WNYT gladly aired our 1-hour pilot program at 7p tonight. If you happened to be outside grilling and missed it you can purchase a copy here.

Feedback would be most appreciated.
