Did you catch last night’s first episode of “The Faithful Traveler in the Holy Land?”
If so, you saw host Diana von Glahn and myself floating in the Dead Sea together, doing everything in our power not to touch the squishy muddy bottom. On three occasions, I set my video camera on auto-pilot and joined Diana as she tiptoed into the cold but miraculous waters of the Sea of Galilea, the Dead Sea and the River Jordan.
These and so many more memories of the pilgrimage we filmed in Israel are rekindled on EWTN, the Global Catholic Network channel, this week through Sunday.
Diana herself edited the entire show, talk about miracle worker! Episodes include the Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Church of St Peter in Gallicantu, the seaside ruins of Caesarea Maritima and so much more.
