Dates for the Antigua Sailing Week 2013
Stand down Los Escapados, Aita Pea Pea, Scarlet Oyster and Escaped Aussies the 2012 Antigua Regatta is over. It was a fantastic time and an obvious success on that piece of paradise called Antigua. Already dates are picked for the NEXT five years, a sure clue that all went well. I sure enjoyed my time there.
It isn’t often that I get to sail the perfect waters or stay in a place where Prince Albert of Monaco just recently has (Inn at English Harbour). To swim amongst stingrays, amend that to swim and hold. Seafood so fresh and tasty that I though about having lobster for breakfast a rare thing. The chill out Caribbean vibe that after your first day that makes you feel that all is right and the way it should be, a , in my case, return to life!
If you have even a slight interest in wind fueled cruising move now and put Sailing Week Antigua on the list. Move fast and book now, things book quickly for this event and it is one highly recommended by me. I spent many years growing up and every year I would join my family down in the Islands. I then spent many years not going to them. That is a crime, pure and simple.
