Sky Watch Friday- Bangkok Skies
I am now back from my third trip to Thailand. Every time it has been on invitation from Tourism Authority of Thailand, twice from the New Delhi office. After UK, Thailand is now my most visited country. And Bangkok is the only city where I look forward to do some shopping, the prices are so reasonable that even a non-shopper like me is tempted to pick up a few things. But then this post is about Bangkok skies which are fascinating both during the day and the night!

This time I was staying at the Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside at Bangkok. They have a club lounge for their guests staying in the club rooms and above. The blue skies have been clicked from the Club Lounge. I had a view of the river from my room as well. It is close to the night market Asiatique but due to our sumptuous dinners, we always reached the hotel when it was closing time for the market!
Ramada has rooms which are accessible on wheelchairs and they were very proud to show it to us. This is the first time I stayed so close to the Chao Phraya river and liked the experience. Ramada is an unpretentious hotel at a great location that makes for a really comfortable stay.

Bangkok by night looks equally amazing. We had a dinner hosted by the Rang Mahal Restaurant at the Rembrandt Hotel. They arranged for cocktails at the rooftop on the 26th floor. I spent more time clicking pictures than I did with the drinks. If you are craving for some Indian food in Bangkok you could give this a try. They have amazing views and warm hospitality. Warm hospitality is generally true of all Thai hotels but the staff at the Rang Mahal was truly amazing. The restaurant is also on the top floor.
PS. This post is part of amazing Skywatch Friday, do check it out.
